POOMSAE TOURNAMENT – Sunday 11 July 2010

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND… with upcoming national poomsae selections in August, CITY WEST TKD are excited to host our 2nd Interclub Poomsae Championships on SUNDAY, 11TH JULY 2010, where we will be joined by some of Victoria’s leading Taekwondo Teams specializing in the technical side of Taekwondo…Poomsae!
The invitational event will be held at Mossfiel Primary School Hall, Langridge Street, Hoppers Crossing and is open to colour and black belt TKD competitors of all ages and experiences. Scheduled events will include Individual, Pairs and Team Traditional Poomsae…with a limit of 2 events per competitor.
Our theme for the event is “LET THE SPIRIT GROW”, giving all poomsae enthusiasts opportunity to share in the spirit of the games through active participation and involvement at interclub level.
This friendly event will be a wonderful opportunity to encourage students to develop confidence, gain experience and share in the excitement of real competition. In keeping with the theme of the games, we encourage spectators, families and friends to come along wearing their club colours in support and encouragement of their team. The more positive atmosphere created…the better, team will perform!
ALSO for convenience, a canteen will be operational with hot and cold food/drinks available for purchase throughout the event.
APPLICATION FORMS are now available through all participating clubs. Please note competition entries close on Friday, 18th June 2010. NO late entries will be processed after this date. ALL entries must come via an authorised Head Instructor, otherwise will not be accepted.
