HAPPY DAYS!!! 40yrs young and loving it as Silv and I join the 40yrs plus clan this month. In fact CHEERS to fellow Ariens and Taurus alike as this term sees us all aging somewhat thanks to birthday celebrations all around! With only one thing for certain though, time is surely ticking faster these days - so waste not, want not
do as I do
LIVE, LAUGH AND CHERRISH everything about today!
BLESS us all, were going to get even stronger, fitter and faster Term 2, with more focus on our
speciality training programs at CWT - Hoppers Crossing. WITH the most important lesson for
students to learn (from novice trainer to elite), its up to YOU to take responsibility for your
actions in training (remembering you, yourself are the best teacher)
understanding what ever
amount of effort (big or small) you put into your training program, is what you can hope to get
out. In fact, its a good idea to relate this principle to everyday life (ie. sports, relationships,
work, studies, investments, etc). WHY not put yourself to the test by training that little bit harder in class to maximise your full potential. Who knows
you might just surprise yourself by the realisation of one day actually achieving your Black Belt! AND lets not forget keeping fit and motivated for a happy and healthier YOU is what were all about at this club! Our empowering lets keep active campaign places great emphasis on expert knowledge and gives members perfect opportunity to energise sensibly and cost effectively, leaving no excuse for anyone at CITY WEST TAEKWONDO not to get involved by leading more active, healthier and happier lives. Get with it!!!
HOPEFULLY with so many challenges to embrace over the coming months, therell be something for everyone to aspire to including:-

AND to all newcomers trialling our various beginner programs Term 2 WELCOME and congratulations on starting Taekwondo. Here, you will learn the Art
feel the Energy
gain the POWER
and discover the PASSION for Taekwondo!!! By way of introduction, I am Frank De Pasquale, Founder and Head Instructor of City West Taekwondo. My goal is to make your first experience with martial arts positive and fun
all the whilst you gain confidence and build self esteem developing self defence skills for life!
I understand many of your have started training with us, with the idea of becoming fit, athletic and perhaps eventually one day, donning the mighty Black Belt a highly regarded mark of skill, excellence and commitment in the martial art world. Working towards your Black Belt is something extremely special and definitely attainable
something YOU will proudly remember for the rest of your life!!! And unlike any short term goal, attaining your Black Belt is a long term realization. You will benefit greatly by working towards it. Ask any Black Belt its definitely worth the journey!
As a club, its our role to provide encouragement, training and support needed for you to achieve your goals (how ever big or small)
although ultimately, it will be up to you to initiate, action and sustain them along the way. GOOD LUCK!!!
